The Earth, in the '60s, it was extremely sexy

The five Lunar Orbiter sent to crash into the moon in '66-'67 sent to the ground the very first pictures of the moon, and the first image
earth, whole and naked, seen from space. The

resumed on 70 mm film, Kodak cameras, scans and "faxavano" on earth.
Those images, in high quality, were then re-photographed on 35mm film and projected on television around the world.

The originals were forgotten, as two years after Armstrong, with his three Hasselblad camera and Westinghouse, took over as even more walking on the moon.

Today, forty years later, those original films were painstakingly restored and you can see the first two pictures (of the 2000 present in the negative), including the famous first photo of our land.
